One always wishes that these cases could be put behind us quickly so we can move forward with the healing, but Walter was on point with being realistic about timeframes and expectations meaning that I really didn’t face any surprises. After my accident, my wife and I asked some of our friends if they knew a good injury lawyer. Two different people came back with the same name—Walter Kubitz. After our experience with Walter, we can now say that we know a good injury lawyer as well. Please don’t do what I did – instead, call Walter as soon as you’re injured. I waited until the last minute (nearly two years) to speak with Kubitz & Company. You’ll be better served if you call them as soon as possible and let them guide you through the process of your injury claim. Delaying like I did WILL cause you unneeded stress, may affect your outcome, and your memory will limit the amount of information that Walter is able to work with.

I was injured in a vehicle VS cyclist accident (vehicle 1 cyclist 0). I searched for a lawyer to represent my interests because the driver’s insurance company delayed making a settlement offer approaching two years (the limit for filing a civil claim). I interviewed three personal injury lawyers recommended by General Counsel and VP of Legal for a large oil and gas company, selecting Kubitz and Company’s Walter Kubitz to represent me.

Why? I chose Walter because of his processes, documentation and organization. He was prepared for our interview, laid out documentation and processes, and was clearly organized with procedures in place to deal with what I was facing. As my case proceeded, I learned that Walter is kind, considerate and caring; he has exceptional communication skills, is direct while still sensitive and although his time is expensive, he never made me feel rushed.

Sadly, at least for me, money was the only outcome (I’d pay double my settlement to have the same pre-accident quality of life back). Happily for me, I left the analysis, valuation, and negotiating to Walter. Again, he handled those easily, kept me informed and solicited my input as needed. And again, I couldn’t have been happier with the process and the outcome.

Walter has a terrific team supporting him: I worked with legal assistants Lisa Price and Katie Sinclair as well as office manager/bookkeeper Lori Burlo. All were prompt with correspondence, good communicators and detail oriented. I cannot imagine a more effective team. My opinion is based on thirty years in customer service, more than half of those managing an international team delivering global customer support.

But, Mr. Kubitz, you have fought the good fight for your client. You’ve done everything that any client would want in a personal injury lawyer. So I commend you for the efforts that you have made. There was some battles along the way here that went up to the Court of Appeal, limitation issues, some summary judgment issues. It was a complicated file because of all the parties involved, all of the investigation that had to be done, and, of course, the serious injuries and the way that you had to negotiate considering the amounts that were available at the end of the day towards paying any particular judgment.
